Spouse visa - BRP Collection

Post by b4r1786 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 4:15 pm

Hi

My wife's visa was approved on Friday 6th October and she is due to arrive in the UK on 14th October.

I have to collect the passport from 102-104 New Street

When should I collect the BRP. I am aware of the collection having to take place within 10 days.

I'm only asking as I know that some people have attended and the post office has not had their BRP at the time and they have been asked to come back at another time.

Your wife has to collect the BRP from the designated Post Office, not you. Why not call them once she arrives in the UK to confirm whether they have the BRP?
(Casa, not CR001)

It is within 10 days of your spouse arriving in the UK and not the date the visa is granted.
