Tier 2 Dependant

I am currently holding a 5 year tier 2 visa and has applied for dependent visa for my wife and child. However they only get visa lasting for less than 2 years. Is that normal? Anyone sharing similar experiences?

My own visa expires at 02/07/2022 but both my wife's and my kid's will expire 16/02/2019. I think that is quite odd because I am expecting them to be the same length.

And my wife and kid's visa starts at 11/11/2017

Thanks for your reply, the passport will expire on August of 2022

Did you apply and pay for a upto 5 years visa and pay IHS for 5 years?
