Going out of the country

Post by rai75 » Fri Oct 13, 2017 2:32 pm

My wife has been in the UK now for 3 month - she
came from india via the spouce visa (she had passed
her A1 in India to get her visa).

She wants to go back to India as her sister
will get married hopefully.

Can she just go back to india for 3 weeks and then
come back to the UK on the same visa.

Do we need to tell anyone?

Please advise

Are there any restrictions to the amount of times you can spend in India (while you have the spouce visa for the uk)?

Or the number of times you can go in a year (while you have the spouce visa for the uk)?

There is no time limit. Just make sure you remember dates for future reference

It's ILR that has the days limit

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.
