Break in long residence or not?

Post by Mshah » Sat Oct 14, 2017 12:56 pm

I know there are few threads already on this topic but my situation is bit different so if anyone can please be of any help.
Came to uk on 22 nov 2009
Visa was expiring on 27 nov 2011 and application submitted before that and got reply around 20th December saying payment didn't go through(Visa wasn't refused) , i was off from college so i decided to go back home and apply from there so i went back on 28th december . Earliest appointment i could find was 11th January so I submitted my papers and got visa on 24th january 2012 and since then been gettimg extensions. Does above mentioned break my long residence or not? Thanks

You left the UK withouth a valid visa so your clock starts again from when you re-entered the UK in the January.
