Indian child under 18 can live with maternal uncle and aunt in UK

Post by Laura001 » Sat Oct 14, 2017 2:16 pm

Hi there,
I'm looking for information on family visa's.
I have 2 nieces 7 and 12 who are deaf and living in India.

Is there any way to bring them over to the UK.
We can support them and be their guardians and meet all their needs while they stay and also give them a better opportunity to find the right treatments, which we can pay for and send them to schools specifically for their needs.

Is there any way a child can come over without their actual parents present?
Would I need to foster or adopt them?
what visa would I need to look into?
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Concerned Aunt.

You would need to show proof of Sole Responsibility (click)
Would I need to foster or adopt them?
HO takes a dim view of 'inter family adoptions and gifting' and getting a visa will be very challenging.

See 17.1 SET7.18.1 Adoption is a complex subject (click)
