Afraid so, if the child is not British. Not sure but theres the IHS fee too for the child, £600, not applicable to fiance visa though though you will have to pay it for the following spouse visa. And again 2.5 years after. Not cheap these foreign birds....Bambino-fred wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2017 6:51 pmJust hoping for some clarification from someone here....
you will hopefully be able to calm me down a bit as after browsing immigration info online I came across info on fees which said that each 'dependent' added to a an application for a family type visa costs £1464
but I read elsewhere that this would apply to adult dependents.
My situation is that of a fiance of a partner with a 10-year-old child planning to bring both of them to the UK on a fiance visa....is the total cost of the visa in this situation £1464 x 2 ?
thanks for any help....great site
I wasn't sure - hence I said 'I think'. But it did make me wonder what visa the child would have - can't be a fiance visa and can't be a dependant visa, or can it?
Is the Child Dependent visa only issued for a period of 6 months?
This means that the OP will have to be prepared to pay for 2 x visa fees + NHS surcharge for their visa extensions at the end of the initial 6 month period.
Thanks Obie. Maths has never been my strong point.
That's only simple arithmetic not polynomial calculus....
Depends if you go to jail and do not pass 'Go'....Bambino-fred wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2017 9:38 pmjust to clarify Casa and Obie.... you have both stated that the visa fee per person (not the NHS fee) is £993....from what I've read its £1464...are you sure its £993 ?
