Visa Granted or Refused??

Post by shah2608 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 1:24 pm

Dear Members,

I applied for my wife and 2 daughters visa for settlement in May 2017 from Pakistan on basis of my 10 Year ILR and after long time i received the email below from UKVI:

Dear XXXXXX ,
The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWFXXXXXX was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 10/16/2017 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.
If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.
Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

I have been going around threads and found out that these emails contain clues as to whether the application has been granted or refused, is that true? For example, on threads it says if the word is 'Processed' it means refusal and if the email says 'Resolved' it means granted.

By the look of it, my email says 'Processed' so does that mean Refusal?

Could anyone help please ?

Best Regards

It means it has been processed and is ready for collection, nothing more than that.

You will only know the outcome when they collect their passports.

Thanks CR001. You are always here to help the members :) . Hope you are well :) . You are right, Granted or refused either way it is what it is and i will have to deal with outcome anyways. Just got bit worried as it has taken so long and i got sceptical i guess.

Thanks once again.

****UPDATE****

My wife and 2 daughters got the visa ....WOOHOO :) . After 6 months of long wait and away from my wife and 2 little dollies, finally we will be together as a family again :). I can't THANK enough all of you for your continuous support and help all the way. You guys are SIMPLY AWESOME. THANK YOU.

One last guidance and help please. My wife and daughters did their TB test in February 2017 and it expired in August 2017. Since they have been given visa in October 2017 so do they have to go for the TB test again for immigration officer at UK Airport or the expired one will do? Worth mentioning here that i have the original TB certificates here with me so i guess i will have to send it to them through courier asap.

I wish all of the members, whose applications are still in process, best of luck and my sincere prayers are with all of you as i know how stressful and agitating whole process is.

Thank You All.
