ILR for Dependent

Post by smshoaib » Mon Oct 16, 2017 2:33 pm

My Status: ILR waiting for Naturalisation (expected before End of Nov 2017)

Dependent (Wife)
Arrival in UK: July 2013
Current Status: Tier 1 Dependent visa expiring March 2018.
5 years completes in July 2018.

Question 1:
Do I need to apply for one more extension to complete her 5 years in UK (March 2018 - July 2018) ?

Question 2:
If there is no other way and I have to apply for her extension, Do I need to pay £600 in IHS when I will be needing this extension only for few months.

Thanks a lot for helping me out.

Regards,

There is no other way. Yes you have to pay the £600 IHS and an extension is for 3 years.

Thanks for your response.

Is there any alternate route after I become British Citizen to save cost without impacting the timeframe?
