Sponsorship Licencse

Post by Godwinc46 » Wed Oct 18, 2017 3:27 pm

Hi, I am qualified Chartered Accountant but at the minute I have not been issued with a practising license I am running a Bookkeeping firm, it's been almost a year since i have started. My cousin from India has come to UK to study a degree in Accounting, He's a qualified Chartered Accountant as well. Is there anyway that i can sponsor him? or I can apply for the sponsorship only after i get my practicing certificate? How hard is it to get a sponsorship license? one of my friend also suggested me that i could apply for restrictive license to sponsor him, Which one do you think would be best for me?

My understanding is that a Tier 2 General sponsor cannot sponsor their family.

Here is the sponsor guidance notes so you can read and understand what you would need to do and the requirements you need to meet and prove.
