Tier1 dependant extension from india

Hi,

My husband is on ILR and I am on tier 1 dependant expiring in Jan 2018. I need to extend for 2 more years to reach ILR. Is it possible to extend my visa in December from India?

No. You can only apply for an extension of your current visa within the UK.

You would only have been able to apply for Tier 1 dependent outside the UK if your husband was still a PBS migrant.

As he now has ILR, any application from outside the UK will need to be spouse settlement visa which will reset your clock for ILR to zero.

You should apply for your extension before you travel to India if you are currently still in the UK. An extension will be granted for 3 years.

Thanks very much for your reply. My visa expires on 18th Dec. What is my deadline to apply for extension. I am asking this because I am currently in india and will be back on 25th Nov
