Marriage having PR card or Passport?

Post by R1shpil » Fri Oct 27, 2017 1:44 pm

Hi all,

I'm non-EEA and I've got a Permanent Residence card on basis of marriage with EEA-national for 5 years.
We have divorced last year. Now I have an intention to get married to non-EEA national and bring her and her 2 children to UK. The question is - what would be the easiest option to bring them to UK immigrationwise - to get married having PR card or it is better to get UK passport and then get married?

Thank you guys for your replies! :)

Makes no difference, it is the same visa you have to apply for whether you have PR or citizenship and the same requirements you have to meet for a spouse settlement visa.
