Maintenance funds + IELTS

Hello All,

I am from India and currently working in the UK on a Tier 2 General visa for an A rated Sponsor. I am married and in the process of preparing application for my spouse from India. I have a question in regards to minimum balance or maintenance of funds for 90 days (personal savings).

Query 1:

Knowing that I am already living in the UK on the tier 2 general visa, do I need to show minimum 90 days balance of ONLY £630 (dependant only) ? OR do I need to show minimum 90 days balance of £1575 (comprising of £630 for dependant + £945 for self)?

Query 2:

My dependant i.e. my spouse has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Goa University and the university certificate explicitely mentions that the Medium of Instruction was English. I understand the English language requirement for Tier 2 General Dependant partner is B1. Would it be required for her to appear for IELTS exams? would her BBA qualification be required to be assessed by UK Naric? or none of the two is required?

There is no English requirement for PBS Dependent visa applications.

Do I need to show gbp 1575 or just gbp 630 for 90 days?
