We had thought about booking an appointment once we are both in UK which will be 10 days or so before our wedding ceremony. You think we should hold off until after the ceremony?

You can book an appointment 45 days in advance. and no, it wasn't the earliest date available, but the latest day I could get if I book the appointment on that day.
