Hi my partner just got a visa for a few years with the exception of no recourse to public funds

I'm already claiming child tax credit and child benefit

do I cancel those or just call and make it a single claim?

im a British citizen. All claims I had made in my name with him as the partner

Child benefit in YOUR name only.

Child tax credits must be claimed in JOINT names.

No issue re. his visa extensions etc.
