Category D: Cash Savings

Post by seagul » Tue Oct 31, 2017 2:44 pm

Hello,
If someone has well over £16000 but lesser than £62500 in cash savings from more than 6 months in current account where balance fluctuates with salary deposits and expenses outgoings. So in this scenario what balance (figure) is being used under cash saving purpose to cover the shortfall by employment job. Does it correct that the figure which will be lowest during 6 months will be considered or something else?

Your minimum cash balance during the last six months could be your reliable savings. if you want to use your salary plus cash savings (not sure if that's allowed) then I believe you must take your net salary for the last 6 months out of the minimum amount as well. That's your net reliable savings. Then if you gross salary make up for the difference that should be okay. Just an idea but not sure how home office would think.

Might be worth asking an oisc advisor.
