Passport Application Form Query

Hi all

I was looking at the passport application form and I have a query related to Maternal & Paternal Grandparents details:

In that section only maternal grandfather's name is the mandatory field (marked with *), rest of the details for maternal & paternal grandparents are not marked with asterisk sign which means they are not mandatory.

I just want to know if anyone here has got their passports without providing the non mandatory maternal & paternal grandparents details ? Thanks
