ICT Tier2 LOng Term Visa Extension/ Cooling Off

Hello,

I was in UK on ICT Tier 2 Short Term Visa from 10 June 2014 till 5th June 2015.
and on ICT Tier 2 Long Term Visa from 18th October 2015 till 5th October 2017 and now I have returned back to India.
Now my concerns are:
1) Can I extent my Long term Visa from India? or I need to serve Cooling off.
2) If extension is not possible then can I enter UK on General Visa.
3) Can any UK company sponsor my visa?
4)Is there any way to waive of cooling off period.

1. Extensions are applied for WITHIN the UK. Applications outside the UK are entry clearance applications.

2. Do you mean 'Tier 2 General' visa? No as you will be subject to a cooling off period and you would have to find a company to sponsor you.

3. Only a company that is on the HO approved sponsor list.

4. Not really. What job do you do and what range is your annual salary?

2)If I have company which is ready to sponsor me, so can they sponser T2G Visa?
3)How can I check the same?
4)I work with software firm and my UK annual salary was over 40K anually. What should be my salary slab to waive off cooling Period?

1. You cannot extend a visa outside the UK. It will be a new entry clearance visa. Has your previous ICT visa already expired? Presumably you are still working for the same company in your home country?

2. Are they a licensed HO sponsor on the approved sponsor list? You are subject to the 12 month cooling off period before you can apply for a Tier 2 General visa. A sponsor will also have to conduct the full and proper RLMT before you can be offered a job and issued a CoS.

4. A shortage occupation and a salary in excess of £155k might waive the cooling off period.

1) Yes my Visa expired on 6th October and I am currently working for same company in India.

2)Yes my sponsor are licensed HO sponsor.

It seems that anyway I have to serve 1 year cooling period before entering UK again on any Tier 2 Visa. Correct me if I am wrong.
