Tier 2 WP cos cancelled can we apply a new Cos

Hi

I have UK work permit long term Visa which is valid for 3 years due to shortage of assignments I came back to home location within 8 months. After reaching my COS was cancelled so now can I travel with new COS without applying new Visa as still I have validity of 2 years.
Also another query is can a different employer create a CoS for the current existing Visa??

Do you mean an ICT Long Term visa? There is no 'work permit long term visa' category.

If you have left and your employer notified HO, then you VISA has been cancelled.

If you want to work for another employer and apply for a Tier 2 General visa, you need a new COS and new visa application and have to wait 12 months from when you left the UK before you can apply.

Tier 2 visas are NOT transferable to other employers in the circumstances you are stating.
