Dual citizenship

Hi all

I have few questions and I was wondering if anyone can answer them.

1) I have been living in the UK since 2011, I have French passport, I have an engineering degree from uk and I have been working as an engineer for the past year so I was wondering if I am eligible to have a UK citizenship without given up my French nationality?

2) if the answer for part 1 is yes, how much would it cost on total and how long will the process take ?

I never claimed benefits, I always paid my tax and never been arrested by police.

You cannot apply for citizenship if you do not have a document certifying PR (DCPR).

Having a NI number does not mean you were exercising treaty rights. You have to prove to HO with documentary evidence that you were a qualified person. Just residing for 5 years is not sufficient.

In the 5 years, how much work have you done?

If that not enough, how can I start documenting my staying here. Since I am working now and get taxed monthly, will this account or I need to do something else.

If you did not have a foreign non UK issued EHIC or comprehensive sickness insurance while a student, then your clock starts from when you started working and yes, working is exercising treaty rights so you would need to keep evidence of payslips, bank statements, P60s etc.

Last question please.

I have been living in the uk since 2011, I did my uni 2013 and finished 2016. I started my current role january 2017.

Will I have to leave th country after March 2019 ?
Or because I did my uni here and I am having an engineering job, paying tax and never been arrested will grant me he right to live here after Brexit ?
