Apply to settle in the UK for Teir2 (ICT) visa holder

Post by HosseinEbi » Mon Nov 06, 2017 2:16 pm

Hi,
I have moved to UK on August 2014 under Teir2 (ICT) visa. I have checked my eligibility for settle in the UK in the government portal (www.gov.uk). It seems I can request to settle in the UK if I hold Teir2 (ICT) for 5 years but, my HR manager said there is no way to switch Trei2(ICT) or even extend it after 5 year and I have to leave the country.
Am I really eligible to apply for settle in the UK or have to leave the country?
Is any one here who held Tier2(ICT) and now got ILR?

Thank you

You cannot apply for ILR (settlement) if you hold a Tier 2 ICT visa issued AFTER 6th April 2010. So your HR is correct yes.

You must have selected the wrong option on the eligibility checker if that is the answer you got online.

I don't think you can qualify for ILR under Tier 2 (ICT), if 245GF(d) fails.
