Dependents travelling separately into UK to meet Main applicant on ancestral visa vignette

Post by Ivy13 » Mon Nov 06, 2017 2:36 pm

Please help.
We have been granted ancestral visas with my husband being Main applicant, and my 2 daughters aged 16 and 18, and myself (spouse) as dependent visas.
The vignette says TO ACCOM Mr X (hubby name)
My children are booked to fly into UK a day after we do.
1. Will the airline (BA) let them board if they are not accompanied by their Dad
2. Will border immigration let them in?
We will be waiting to meet them at Heathrow.
Please advise, am so worried, can't find any info and tickets already booked!
Thanks

Why aren't you all flying together?

Did you state in their application form that the family is traveling together? If yes, then that is why it says 'accompany' and not 'join' their father.

They didn't ask us for our travel plans- only intended date of travel to UK, which reflected in the vignette start date.

We had always planned to go via Italy to visit relatives, and then the girls had to finish exams first at school, so they could not travel with us
