Tier 2 General dependent

Post by jppp » Thu Nov 09, 2017 9:13 pm

Hello Expert

I have Tier 2 general visa (sponsored by Employer). I am planing to apply for ILR in Jan-18. My dependent are on Tier 2 general dependent visa and not eligible for ILR till Nov-18 due to continuous period requirement. Our current visa is valid till Dec-18. In case I decide to leave the current employment post ILR will it affect Tier 2 dependent visa status? As Employer will pull out the Certificate of sponsorship. Do they have to apply for ILR dependent? or they will retain current visa status

No. PBS Dependents are dependent on YOU not your employer.

If you apply for ILR based on 5 years Tier 2, they can continue with their current visas.
