Cash payment from second Job - Refusal Spouse Visa

Post by Bobby1 » Sat Nov 18, 2017 1:12 pm

Hello,

My spouse visa application was rejected because my second job which was cash payment was not banked. The employer paid all tax. The income was only £270 after tax and I used that for my general expenses, fuel, board etc.

Rejected because I didn't show that I met financial requirement.

However on the refusal letter referring to my first job the case worker writes " I also note that your sponsor has earned £9,412 in the previous 6 months leading upto your application from this employment"

I used the Cat A calculation so if 6 months is £9412 and I times that by 2, the 12 month income is £18824?

Please advise I need this help, Shall I appeal?

I think your second cash payment and it's deposit has caused confusion otherwise yes your income can meet the requirement through non-salaried person route category A if you are with your employer from last 6 months.
