I would like to cancel my stamp 4

Post by Arkuxo » Mon Nov 20, 2017 12:06 pm

Hi there,

I currently have one stamp 4 under the EU Treaty Rights.
I'm currently working on a medium/big company.

I'm planning to divorce from my Italian wife, she even moved to Italy in July/August.
My company is willing to sponsor for my Stamp 1 - Critical skills employment permit,
I would like to know how I can cancel my current Stamp 4, and remain working in the country and get a Stamp 1.
Has anyone being\view a similar situation to this?

Thank you for your time!
Ark

Hi

Never been in such situation ,

you can sure cancel but you can;t change , i think you need to leave the country and apply from outside... After cancelling current it's not a smooth transition

In addition to user 'Broli' advice, you do realise that if your spouse if no longer in Ireland exercising treaty rights, you no longer have any rights either since she has moved out of the state, as far as I understand.
