ILR Tier 2 (5 Year route)

Post by imbaig45 » Mon Nov 20, 2017 6:38 pm

Hi

I please request you to advise the following questions based on my circumstance

Immigration history

Main Applicant Tier 2 Visa

First issue: 02/04/2013 to 16/04/2015
Second issue: 23/04/2015 to 30/04/2018

Dependent Tier 2 Visa
First issue: 01/10/2013 to 16/04/2015
Second issue: 23/04/2015 to 30/04/2018

• What will be the earliest date can I (Main applicant) apply for ILR in 5 year route
• What visa should I apply for my wife as she will not be completing 5 years as tier 2 dependent (5 months short) Can she apply for Tier 2 dependent even though main applicant will have ILR or she has to be a ILR Dependent
• For my daughter born in UK shall I apply for neutralisation as soon as I (main applicant father) achieve ILR (She is 2 years old and on tier 2 dependant visa)
• We are expecting another baby in December do I have to apply Indian passport and get UK visa or apply for citizen ship as soon as I get ILR (Child will be with no Passport and visa for 4 months)

Thanks in Advance

• What will be the earliest date can I (Main applicant) apply for ILR in 5 year route
Within 28 days before you reach 5 years residence assuming you meet all the requirements (salary, absence etc). You don't state the date you entered the UK though.
• What visa should I apply for my wife as she will not be completing 5 years as tier 2 dependent (5 months short) Can she apply for Tier 2 dependent even though main applicant will have ILR or she has to be a ILR Dependent
Tier 2 dependent until she meets the requirements for ILR counted from the date she ENTERED the UK.
• For my daughter born in UK shall I apply for neutralisation as soon as I (main applicant father) achieve ILR (She is 2 years old and on tier 2 dependant visa)
Yes, apply for citizenship once you have ILR.
• We are expecting another baby in December do I have to apply Indian passport and get UK visa or apply for citizen ship as soon as I get ILR (Child will be with no Passport and visa for 4 months)
Apply for citizenship. No need to have a foreign passport.
