I've recently finished my masters degree, but have failed to find a job with a visa sponsorship. Hence, after being in the country for over 10 years, i've decided to pursue a visa extension, FLR(LR), and managed to apply before my Tier 4 student expires, in hopes of having more time of finding a tier 2 sponsor. While for the past 2 years I've also been working part time, here are my questions:
- If my application is successful, I receive the FLR, and as my course has finished, will I be able to work for more than 20 hours, as technically I'm no longer in term time?
- If I will be able to work for more than 20 hours, is it going to be hard to find a new job and persuade the interviewers that FLR(LR) allows me to work for more than 20 hours?
- If I won't be able to work for more than 20 hours, is FLR(LR) going to make my life harder to when I find a sponsor and switch to Tier 2?
