Which date is considered Date of application ?

Post by bluebird12 » Thu Nov 23, 2017 9:22 pm

Hi Everyone , could somebody help me please by answering the following question. When some body is applying for naturalisation as a spouse of British citizen and if applying by Post , what date is considered Date of Application, the day special Delivery is posted or the date home office receive the application or the date mentioned on the application acknowledgement letter ? 2: if applying through NCS , is the appointment day , is Date of application ? The reason asking above questions is to calculate date 3 years back being physically present in the uk in regard to meet residency requirements ?

1. If applying by post, it is the date that HO receives the application.

2. If applying using NCS, it is the date of your NCS appointment.
