urgent please, Going for an ILR

hello all,

My case is as follows:

I came to uk on 2012 on spouse visa and now its time to apply for my ilr soon. My spouse and i had a good and a genuine relationship since after marriage. but now he has changed completely and we have arguments almost everyday.
Since my spouse visa is going to run out, I asked his help in order for my application which he did after 1000s request. we still live in the same house and share the utility and rent equally.
He agreed to hand his documents( passport, payslips etc) but he refused to go to the HO for the appointment.
My questions are :

if he doesn't go to the HO for the appointment, is it gonna affect my application ? If yes, then how is it going to affect?
What should I expect at the appointment for my appointment (e.g.. chances of getting accept for an ilr or getting refused ) ?

will a decent cover letter from my husband would be enough to support my application?

Please give am example of the cover letter?

If he is not attending the appointment with you, he needs to provide a letter supporting your application and explaining why he is not able to attend with you.
