Buying a house with tier2 general visa

Hi All,

I have recently moved to UK with tier2 general visa and it's been 2 months now. So I have 2 years and 10 months remaining as per my visa in UK

I wanted to know can I buy house in UK and what are the pre-requisite to get mortgage?

Also, if later I decided to move out of UK can I sell the property ? And can pay the mortgage?

You can buy a house and sell it if you wish at whatever point.

What the mortgage companies require is not an immigration question and you will need to check with them. You also are unlikely to get the best rate due to not being in the UK for very long and not having ILR.
