Change Spouse Visa 10 year to 5 year

Post by sthom » Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:00 pm

Hi all,

Quick history.

I'm English, my wife is Brazilian.
Although always the plan we rushed back to England in Feb 2016 owing to discovery of pregnancy and the Zika virus of where we were (Brazil). We naively felt we could do the visa application in the UK although would still have flown anyway (escaping Zika).

We were advised to apply for a visa such to maintain legal nature and deliver the baby safely.

16 months later (baby was 15 months old) we were told my wife must leave the UK. Now we've managed to change that decision and my wife has been granted a 30 month visa on the ten year path.

The question
We tick all the boxes necessary ref applying under the 5 year route. Could my wife return to Brazil and apply again (even though she's already been approved under the 10 year route)?

Regards,

Stuart

It was, why? I couldn't get access to that password for some reason.

The case has moved on.

Am I missing something? I shouldn't be requesting help?

Do click on the link I have already provided. You could have stated you couldn't log into your other username and we could have deactivated it. It helps for members to have your full circumstances if you expect free help on the forum.

I see - thanks

Missed that link on your first post (small screen on my phone). How might I go about deleting the account I can't seem to access? The new profile is not to hide anything more simply created to try and get some help. Often, I'm sure as others, posts are made whilst the postees are under an element of stress reference the 'case'.

Not one to 'break rules' I'd like to fix what needs to be fixed and delete the other account . That said it would also be nice to receive some advise reference my post.

Thanks
