Citizenship and Passport at same time

Hi guys just i noticed whoever applying for naturalization is applying to British passport in same time so wanna plz why u paying for the passport b4 u getting approval letter

Kindly refrain from posting questions in the TIMELINE ONLY topics.

There is a scheme called JCAP (joint citizenship and passport) through the Nationality Checking Service at the council where you can apply for both at the time. The citizenship fee and passport fee are taken in the first couple of weeks after submission. You only get the passport after you have attended your citizenship ceremony though.
