UK Tier 1 online application query

Post by Imtiaz17 » Tue Dec 05, 2017 10:18 am

I am applying for Tier 1 and am stuck on the online application trying to understand what's the right answer for the particular questions below. I am using my own funds for this Tier one and and this is not a partnership application either. Can someone help me please with answers to the questions below :

Do you have third party letter granting permission to use the money
Do you have legal representative's letter confirming validity
Official Letter from
Additional VC evidence

Thanks

If you are using your own funds and they are held in your own personal bank account, then these are NOT relevant to you.

Thank you very much for that prompt response. So I guess I can choose N/A for 3 of the questions I asked but for the question 'Official Letter From' it requires an answer and my bank letters are from Sri Lanka. So I am confused what choice to choose.

Also I have a 20 year old son living and studying in UK for the past 2 years. Can I include him in the application or is it not allowed since he is not a minor anymore (He is still a dependent of me though as I'm paying his fees).

I have a special needs son of 11 year too and he is included in the application. Do I need to mention his condition and an explanation under the additional comments pls..

The 4 questions you have listed are only relevant to a) third party funding and b) VC funding. Neither appear to apply to you so the questions are not relevant to you. If you are using your own funds in your own account, you need to submit the evidence for that.

No, you cannot include him as your dependent as he is classed as an adult now. It would only have been possible if he applied before he turned 18.

No there is no need to mentioned it.

OMG - You are super fast with your responses. So although my son of 18 is still a dependent and not part of this Tier 4 application, am I not supposed to mention him under dependent children ? Sorrrry to ask again.

Also my husband and my 2 other kids will be dependent's accompanying me to UK. Do I have to make a separate application for each dependent or its 1 for all 4 of us ? I mentioned the maintenance funds as GBP 8980 (3310 for me + 5670 for my husband and the 2 kids). Is this correct and within the required amount ..

Thanks a Mill...

Which Form should be used for Tier 1 (G) Dependent

Post by Imtiaz17 » Mon Dec 18, 2017 6:50 am

Hi There,

I have already applied for my Tier 1 visa and awaiting approval. In the meantime can someone confirm to me if I'm applying for my husband and kids, would I need to submit online individual applications for each ? And if so, do I choose the option :

Reason for Visit : Work
Visa Type : Tier 1 (Entrepreneur Visa)
Visa Sub Type : Tier 1 Entrpreneur Partner

Is that correct as above ? I assume if its correct then Tier 1 Entrepreneur Child would be for the kids isn't it ?

Can someone correct me if I am wrong pls..

Thanks

Imtiaz
