Provisional Drivers Licence Non UK/EEA National

Post by b0d » Tue Dec 05, 2017 3:56 pm

Hi
"6 months leave to remain"
(and a passport)
on your visa will allow you to apply for a provisional licence

According to DVLA, just phoned them.

Ofc this info is not on the website at least that I could find.

You need a BRP, indicating you have a visa valid for more than 6 months, i.e. that you are NOT a visitor, a passport and a NI number, clearly stated on the website.

Other than that, not sure what your question actually is?

I used to work at the DVLA at Morriston in Swansea, manned by inbreds, by far the most incompetent of the Government agencies.
