Help:Qualifying period for 10 years long residence

Post by cl65amg » Sun Dec 10, 2017 4:50 pm

Hi guys,

I need some help with calculating qualifying period for ILR via 10 year route.

Suppose my first visa was issued on 05-08-2008 and I first came to the UK on 25-08-2008, does my 10 year count until 05-08-2018 or 25-08-2018? If I decide to apply 28 days in advance, do I apply on 07-07-2018 or 27-07-2018?

Thank you for the help.

It starts counting from the date you ENTERED the UK for 10 years long residence.
