can you get your passport back in an emergency during an FLR(M)application by post?

Post by rajaf » Mon Dec 11, 2017 7:27 pm

hello everyone,

I'm new here and this is my second post/question

I'm just wondering.

I'm due to apply for my wife's FLRM VIsa by post to save on the premium fee of £590 odd

my wife's family resides in Pakistan, her mother is often ill in and out of hospital but nothing serious diagnosed.

now! in the event of an unlikely emergency (god forbid), for example, he mother becomes serious or worse.

how can I get my wife's passport back during the application? how long will it take? whats the procedure? Costs? ins and outs?

some light and recommendation on this would be highly appreciated.

Leaving the country while an application is pending will withdraw the application and she would then likely have to start from scratch again.

Pay the extra if there are potential emergencies that could occur.
