Visit Visa Invite/Sponsor Letter

Post by Dilliwalah » Thu Dec 14, 2017 11:05 am

Hello Experts
My wife and I are expecting our baby in Jan for which we wanted my and her mother to be here to witness the birth and help during that time.

Can you please let me know if scanned copy of invite letter is OK or do i need to post the invite letter to them?

Thanks for your support.

Regards

Thanks a lot!

Just one more question.

My mother-in-laws last application was rejected as the officer said that in the sponsor letter and documents i sent my wife name was not in the house deed and utility bill. He said there was no proof given and also said as per HO records i dont have any relationship!

I am on T2G visa with my wife as my dependent. This time we are attaching utility bill, council and her passport and BRP. Is there anything else I can do?

It is strange they said they cannot see my wife as my dependent on their system!

Thanks for your help again.

Only a small number of countries have parents details in a passport. It is not usual practice in the majority of countries, so likely this is not considered or even looked at.

Don't expect UKVI to 'look' for the information. The applicant MUST supply everything they believe relevant to their application.
