Tier 2 dependent Visa - Query

Hello,

I need a some clarification on the below topic and best place to find i know is here. So Many Thanks in Advance. PLease can someone help on the answers

My wife is in Tier 2 Dependant visa valid till nov 2018, by that time she will be eligible for ILR, i recently got ILR. earlier my current company did sponsor me for my Tier 2 since now i not got my ILR they are planning to cancel their sponsorship on Tier 2 (by notifying to home office) i know it will not have impact on me. My question will it affect my wife .

a. Does she need to switch to some ILR dependant or can continue as tier 2 dependant ever after my compnay cancel my visa.

b. If she need to swith to some ILR dependant her 5 year route will lapse, is there any alrternative.

c. We are planning to travel outside the country , when we come back will it cause any issue with immigiration

Your spouse is dependent on YOU and not your sponsor. If you got ILR based on Tier 2, then your dependent can continue on their current visa until they qualify for ILR.

Not relevant UNLESS you got ILR based on 10 years long residence.

c. We are planning to travel outside the country , when we come back will it cause any issue with immigiration
