Missing one month payslip

Post by chedward » Fri Dec 15, 2017 10:21 pm

I am a British citizen and I am now helping my wife to apply for a spouse visa in the coming January.
I am currently looking for a job after finishing my study of Master degree in September while my wife is working as a freelancer for a UK Press using her student visa.
We both have a total of £50,000 and plus her monthly income of at least £800 for the past six months. We hope this should satisfy the financial requirement. ( At least according to some of the visa calculators, we should be fine)
However, we found that my wife forgot to claim her October payment, therefore she doesn't have her payslip of October. Fortunately, there was a record on the booking system that proves she is entitled to claim her payment of October and her employer is willing to write an explanation letter for her.
We wonder would this be okay? Or the Immigration Board would strictly require for 6 months payslips or bank statements which shows 6 months of income?

You strictly need 6 months payslips even one of the month has no wages then payslip can show zero earning but at least should be attached for relevant month. Plus 6 months bank statements & employer letter also need. Maybe in your case the missing wages can be received along with recent pay with employer explaining letter can work but ideally the payslip even showing zero for the month where no earning should also be attached.
