Next of Kin Visa Category - Can I apply for it?

Hello Guys,

I am doing post graduation on Tier 4 visa right now and my visa is valid for 1 year at least.
My brother is Swedish national so can I apply for "Next of Kin" visa in UK? If yes then what is the best time to apply and how much time it would take?
Will my brother have to come to UK for any sort if guarantees?

Please guide as I do not have any information on this type of visa category.

What do you mean by 'next of kin' visa for the UK? There is no such visa.

What is your aim, to stay in the UK as a family member of an EU citizen or apply for a visa to visit your brother in Sweden?

Thanks for your reply. The aim is to stay in UK while my brother is living in Sweden. So is there a visa category that applies on me to stay in UK using the credibility of my brother who is Swedish national and working on a high tech job on permanent basis.

Can't "extended family members" category applies on real brother like me who is already in UK on Tier 4 Visa but my brother is EEA national?

Your EU citizen brother would have to be in the UK exercising treaty rights. You would also have to show evidence of dependency.

You cannot apply for an EEA extended family permit if your brother is living and working in Sweden.
