FLR(M) application documents - premium service center

Post by Tranncebrat » Sun Dec 17, 2017 12:11 pm

Hello,

I am applying for the FLR(M) partner visa at the premium service center in Liverpool on January 24th. I am putting together the documents I need to bring (which are all originals and will have photocopies attached as well), but the only document that I won't be able to provide is my husband's original passport as he will be working abroad at the time of the appointment.

I know if I was to mail my application in, I'd need to submit photocopies of every page in his passport plus the signed declaration stating that the photos are true copies of his passport, so will I be penalized if I do that same even if I'm submitting my application in person?

I can also provide his original birth certificate, numerous IDs and his work contract stating the dates of his work abroad to justify why I wasn't able to provide his original passport.

If there is a chance I can be denied based on this, he's willing to delay his contract till after the appointment.

Any advice is appreciated! 😊

A photocopy is fine and you will also need to submit a letter from your husband stating why he is not able to attend the appointment with you (which is usually required).
