Entry within 2 years

Post by rodung » Mon Dec 18, 2017 3:33 pm

Hello,

I hold indefinite leave to enter UK from my father (stating on visa type – visa settlement to join my father). My parents and my brother live in UK. But, due to my work, I live outside UK and enter UK within 2 years. I also have my wife and kids back at my native country. They do not hold ILE because, obviously, I am still at my native country. But, I have planned to move permanently to UK within end of 2019. I have not lived in UK long in my life time but just for few weeks only. I have heard that entry for short period will not be valid and might revoke my ILE. I am planning to enter UK once again in few months (less than one year).

My questions are:
1) What should I tell to immigration officer?
2) Should I tell them truth and tell them I have intention to move to UK at the end of 2019?
3) Or, Should I just tell them that I have move permanently to UK this time by just getting one way ticket?
3) Is there any way that they would figure it out?
4) If my ILE is revoked, what are my chances on getting my ile back by applying returning residents?

Thanks

Does it specifically state Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE)?

What visa did your mother and brother come to the UK with?

When did you get this 'visa' and how long was it valid for?

And also, how long have you lived outside the UK??

How old were you when you got the ILE and how old are you now?

I got it in 2007. At that time I was 21 and now I am 31.

My last entry was on March 2017. I am just entering uk for few weeks since 2007.
