I live in the UK with a Tier 1 (dependent) visa. I would like to enrol in a full-time PhD programme.

Can I study with my current visa or should I switch to Tier 1?

If I can study with Tier 1, do I need to inform Home Office? Do I need any sort of permission/certificate to study with Tier 1 (dependent)?
