Post by mizer » Wed Dec 20, 2017 11:45 pm

hi everybody,
I applied for citizenship on October and I still waiting on the queue but recently my tax office reference changed after claiming tax marriage allowance

do I have to inform Home Office about the new tax reference?

The tax office reference number in form AN is usually your employers tax reference number not yours. Are you self employed or do you mean your tax code from HMRC??
Char (CR001 not Casa)

yes, I meant my tax code from HMRC
the one asked on the AN form is not my tax code is my employer tax reference so no need to inform the home office I guess!
what you reckon?

No need to inform them about a tax code change, it will all be in your history when they check.
