PBS dependant extension

Hi. Just need some advice. I got ILR after staying in Tier 2 general category for 5 years and submitted application on SET(O). My wife has Tier 2 dependant visa at present due to expire 24 Jan 2018. I need advice as to what route for visa should i apply for her. Could we switch to FLR m or apply PBS dependant extension? Also if we can apply to extend in PBS category how do i apply that? As the for for tier 2 extension on gov.uk concerns itself with main applicant. Asks for COS etc. I have the relevant funds to support her application pbs extension if i apply in that route will that suffice? Or she needs to to show she has funds in her name? Please help me out. You can do either BUT switching to FLR(M) will reset her clock for ILR to zero and she will have to wait another 5 years (2 x 2.5 year visas) before she will qualify for ILR.

That is so very helpful. Thank you for directing me to the link as well. I have a few more questions.

1. For PBS dependant extension does my wife need a criminal record certificate from Pakistan/UK. Guidance of pbs dependant states she does but when I have actually filled in the form just now it never asked for it

2. There was a question in the form about the COS. My COS is from 2016 based on which We were both given visa's (me-T2 general and wife T2 dependant). The COS was valid for 2 years-expiring in Jan 2018. Now that I have ILR I have no restriction to work and therefore wont be needing any further COS. Question is that in the form will they accept that COS 2016-2018 knowing that I now have ILR.

3. Do I have to prove that we are married/living together etc? I mean she has been granted visa twice in the same category- now applying to extend. I can provide marriage certificate, birth certificate of our daughter which bears us as parents, address proof that we are living together. Is there anything else I need to do?
I do plan to write a supporting letter explaining that I sort out the accommodation, maintenance etc-did that last time too.

Please advice.

I am applying for PBS dependant extension for 3 years so she can qualify for ILR. Advice needed please: 1. Do i need to submit a COS ( if no then how to address the auestion on the form as question say COS 3 years or less than 3 years) could say less than 3 years and reference the old cos stating i have ILR now? 2. Do i need to submit a criminal record certificate? She has been living here for over 2 years now and the application is just for extension. I dont think i need to but please advise.
