Premium appointment slots are only released onto the system 42 days in advance.FXR_1340 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:10 pmHi,
Now we have word of when my partners documents can be collected from the visa centre in Elizabeth New Jersey following the issue of her Fiance Visa, we can start to put a timeline in place and at least have something to look forward to and work toward.
Our plan is
1. Attend the Visa Centre in Elizabeth NJ on Nov 1 and collect documents
2. Scan and email copies of the relevant papers and I can submit to the Registry Office (they are happy to accept copies until the originals are available on my partners arrival in UK - Nov 30)
3. Wedding Day, Dec 9
4. Gather up the docs presented (plus Marriage Certificate issued on the day of our ceremony) for the Fiance
Visa and update where necessary ie most recent 6 months pay statements, bank statements
5. Attend Glasgow office for On the Day Premium Service
The question is, when am I allowed to request an appointment with the Premium Centre? Can I do this now? Or must I wait till after the marriage ceremony? Can I select the date of attendance or is the date allocated? When is the fees for the Appointment Centre paid? At the time of booking?
I hope I am now beginning to see light at the end of this very dark tunnel.
Thanks for your continuing help........
Casa, Thank you for your response and for the guidance. Particularly the bit about health insurance. Great advice and a timely reminder. Thank you.Casa wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:15 pmPremium appointment slots are only released onto the system 42 days in advance.FXR_1340 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:10 pmHi,

You select the date and time according to availability.
Fees + the IHS surcharge are paid online before the appointment.
Do bear in mind that your fiance won't be entitled to use the NHS until the FLR(M) visa has been granted and it would be wise to take out private medical insurance to cover the period of residence until then.
You pay the fees (visa and IHS) online when you make the actual appointment booking for the in person visa application. If you don't pay, you don't get an appointment. With regards Fees, is the payment made at the point of booking the appointment or, for example, 2 days before attending the appointment? The money os sitting in an account waiting to be paid however I just need to know when it can be paid (better sitting in my partners account and doing something)
No pay...no appointment....seems reasonableCR001 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:43 pmYou pay the fees (visa and IHS) online when you make the actual appointment booking for the in person visa application. We intend to book a Premium Service Centre (PSC) in Glasgow and get the FLR(M) done that day. Unlikely you will get an appointment for the same day as most premium centres are already fully booked for December.
We are unclear of how the paperwork is submitted. You submit it on the day at your appointment.
We have started an online application which (as far as I can ascertain) once completed is printed and taken to the PSC. We have completed up to the "Date of Marriage". Cant go any further as that date of marriage is after todays date.
Is completing the online form the only way to get a PSC appointment? No. You can book just the appointment and complete a paper form of FLR(M).
Can we not just complete a paper copy of FLR(M), then go online to make the payment (inc On The Day fee and IHS) and then schedule an appointment? Yes you can.
Or can it only be done by us completing the form online then printing it? No
If it is possible to complete a paper copy etc, should I delete the live online form we are trying to complete at the moment? If so, how is this done? Yes. Not sure. Maybe don't complete as it will expire.
I assume the method will be, make the payment then select a PSC venue. The appointment booking process will tell you what to do yes.
In the event of a date at the Glasgow centre being unavailable, is it possible to then "fish" around other centres to see where a quicker date is available? Yes.
Grateful for your help.
This is so stressful...........
Once again we thank you for your guidance.CR001 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 9:58 amFXR_1340 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 8:54 pmOur wedding is now booked for next Saturday. Wonderful, so exciting

Thank you for your super quick reply. We will remove the "not required" items from our submission pack.
