PBS Dependant visa extension with Husband on ILR

Dear Immigration Team,
I currently hold ILR(Indefinite Leave to Remain) from Sep 2017, based on Tier 2 General (5 Years)

My wife is currently on 'Tier 2 PBS Dependent' visa and I don’t want to switch categories of her visa(since it will reset her qualifying clock for ILR to zero). her current visa status will expire on Sep 2018

I would like these to be answered please.
1. I believe she need to extend her visa as 'PBS Dependent' visa. Please confirm if this is true? my wife entered UK as PBS dependant in May 2014(Visa approved in March 2014)
2. Which application form does she have to fill in? is it Tier 2 dependant again (although I moved to ILR)
3. Documents required to support her application?

It would be really helpful if you could provide info to the above queries.

Hi

I have applied for a PBS dependant visa extension for my wife 2 weeks ago from UK.(postal)
The online application has now changed and Biometric letter is available online which needs to be downloaded and biometric given at the postoffice within 14 days.
Has anyone applied with this new change in the application process ?
If Yes, have anyone received any further acknowledgement from UKBA that the visa is under process?

Yes many. If you apply online, it is unlikely you will get any other acknowledgement.
