I have few queries in regards to application for ILR and I would be most grateful to you if you could please help me with below;
In regards to Para 6.1
When did you (main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date you entered at the beginning of the stay on which this application is based?
Q1 - I am currently on T1G with 2 extensions.. my initial T1G was in country switch.. so which date should I answer?
A) The start of qualifying residence - which is 5 years backwards from today or when I first got my initial T1G?
2) When I first entered in the UK before T1G on workpermit
In regards to Para 7.13
How long have you lived in the UK?
Q2 - Should I mention all my time when I first entered since work permit?
In regards to Para 7.14
Please state what Social, cultural and family ties you have with;
. the country where you were born
. any country where you have lived for more than five years
Q3 - So in this one should I mention all about my native country and the UK?
In regards to Para 12A
Your Valid passport or a national ID Card
Q4 - Do I need to include my expired passport as well or just current passport as in previous FLR applications HO specifically asked for previous passports as well
In regards to Para 12B
Recent document(s) from your authorised employer confirming that you are still needed for the same work and that your employment with them is continuing
Q5 - I am running my own company so can I get a letter from my accountant?
Q6 - Should I get the above letter for both jobs as I am also working in a firm as well or a letter from an accountant would fulfil the purpose?
In regards to Para 12B
Document(s) from your authorised employer(s) over the past five years confirming that you have been employed continuously in this work throughout that period
Q7 - I had multiple employments except my own Ltd. firm so do I need to get an individual letter from each company?
Many thanks for reading my queries and for your kind reply/guidance in advance.
Very Best

I have tried to answer the best I can, from my understanding.adumbguy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2017 10:04 pmHello Everyone,
I have few queries in regards to application for ILR and I would be most grateful to you if you could please help me with below;
In regards to Para 6.1
When did you (main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date you entered at the beginning of the stay on which this application is based?
This refers to when you first entered the UK on whatever Initial entry clearance you were granted on.
When you actually entered the UK, Not, from the date you were granted your initial entry clearance.
In regards to Para 7.14
Please state what Social, cultural and family ties you have with;
. the country where you were born
. any country where you have lived for more than five years
Q3 - So in this one should I mention all about my native country and the UK?
You could mention the UK, I don't see any harm, but I think for the most part it is referring to any other country apart from the UK
In regards to Para 12A
Your Valid passport or a national ID Card
Q4 - Do I need to include my expired passport as well or just current passport as in previous FLR applications HO specifically asked for previous passports as well
You may need to include previous passports if you have had multiple leave to remain visas that may be included in your old passport.
I suspect you would also need to maybe show company financial accounts (SA302(tax declaration), if you are also working then employer letters, recent payslips would be need also.
In regards to Para 12B
Document(s) from your authorised employer(s) over the past five years confirming that you have been employed continuously in this work throughout that period
Q7 - I had multiple employments except my own Ltd. firm so do I need to get an individual letter from each company?
If the application form is asking for the last 5 years proof of documents of continuous employment, from the employer(S) then, my understanding is not just letters, but p60's, P45's, Confirmation letters would be needed if you have had more than one employment.
Many thanks for reading my queries and for your kind reply/guidance in advance.
