Hi,
My wife has been on tier 2 dependent visa since 2013 jan. Now since her 5y will complete in jan2018, we are looking to apply for ILR in Feb 2018.
I have assured that the application form is SET O for a dependent. But I am not sure which sections are applicable to her.
I know section 9 doesn’t apply to depend , but not sure about section 5 or 6. As she doesn’t have to show any letters from employers.
Is there any funds to be maintained in bank account for this application. Please point to that section.
Thanks
Bharat

Section 5 talks about home owning and salary, but as a dependent she doesn’t have to show any salary?. So does she have to fill 5.6 and 5.7.
Section 6 talks of absence from UK, which she hasn’t been for long, but it also asks for proofs being provided for leave from UK, this part is confusing, passport is the only proof with immigration stamps of exist and entry to UK. Does this apply to dependent applicants.

Section 5, 5.6 & 5.7 not relevant.
Section 6, list her absences. No letter or proof other than passport required.

Thanks for your reply. So we have to fill section 5 but not everything in it is relevant to PBS dependent applicant.
Could you give some advice on how long postal applications take. I remember doing mine via premium service.

Postal applications can take a few weeks or a few months.

Hi,
Could you please clarify the documents or proofs needed for a ILR application. When pbs dependent is doing a solo application.
I have gathered tha we need to provide,
- passport
- biometric card
- an address proof like utility bill or credit card bill
- life in uk test pass letter
- as I own the house we reside in, I would mention that in application, but I don’t think any th8ng further would be needed for that.
Please point out if I am missin* anything else, as we are plann8ng on sending applicati9n by post.

Hi,
We have decided to get the premium appointment booked and we have chosen a date in March 2018 as that was the very next available date.
I had two options after making the payment
1) checklist which I need to print out
2) stated press to download application, but when I clicked on it, it was just a two page payment confirmation and mentioned candidate details and application name Set O dependent on it. So does that mean we don’t need to print out the whole application form and fill it as in postal case and carry with us
Secondly
Please clarify the required docs for dependents ILr using Set O application premium service.
Thanks
