POST STUDY WORK VISA REOPENING NEWS

hello everybody, Happy new year to everyone. I have got question about PSW visa which was discontinued in 2012. I have heard that it will reopen from 11th January 2018. please let me know if any of you know anything about it. many thanks,

No, you have 'heard' wrong. It is not being 'reopened' as far as I can see in the recent Statement of Change as there is no mention of this.

Perhaps what you are referring to is the Mayor of London possibly PROPOSING to the government to look at it or a similar visa.

oh thanku so much .. yeah i was referring to Sadiq khan one... lets see what happens.. hopefully they will open to help students. i was asking for my cousin sister.. who wanted confirmation but i guess she has to wait and see what happens.many thank CR001 for quick reply ,

Any changes that MIGHT take place, won't be instant. As there is a route for students via Tier 2 General, I doubt HO will reopen PSW.
