Do we both need to submit our payslips?

Post by mdubz » Tue Jan 02, 2018 3:28 pm

Hi there!

Hopefully just a quick and easy question someone can answer for a very nervous kiwi.

My husband (british) and I are just putting the finishing touches (hopefully) on my FLR (M) visa (I'm currently on a Tier 5 YMS visa) and I'm just wondering whether we both need to submit our payslips if we are applying under category A?

My husband has been with his employer for 1+ years and has earned over the income threshold the entire time (non-salaried employment but still over) so we were planning to just rely on his income for our application.

I have been employed the whole time but I've only been with my current employer 4 months - am I correct in thinking that as my husband's income is sufficient alone, i.e., without the addition of mine, we don't need to switch to category B?

Thank you for your taking time to answer!

Just husband is fine if he meets the financial requirement.
